When 38-year-old online entrepreneur Joe and his 3 friends decided to visit Cape Town for the first time for an influencers event, they anticipated a week filled with exploration and relaxation combined with work and networking. Why Did You Choose To Stay On In Cape Town? We came for an event and to be honest I didn't know what to expect. As soon as we arrived we were wowed by Cape Town and decided to stay longer and on a whim we found you guys through our connections.
Describe Your Alive Experience? You guys pulled together exactly what we wanted and more in under 48 hours. Instead of hopping on a plane we moved into our penthouse and the fun began. We didn't organise a thing. You were on it with the food we wanted, not wanting to mess up our training or work schedules and also wanting to have lots of fun and adventures whilst we were here. Our driver was more than a driver - more like a father and guide for life. He went everywhere with us and we learned so much about the local culture and history. Tiffany as our constant concierge and helper made the stay. She knew what we wanted before we wanted it and everyday was planned, organised and easy not to mention she is alot of fun. She knew every hot spot and exactly our vibe.
What Was The Highlight Of Your Stay? It's too hard to pin point one thing. So just let me say this... The food is incredible. Simply incredible whether at home or out and about we have never eaten like this. The Alive in house team became more like family and were apart of our tribe. Everyday with every activity it just got better and better. We had so much time to connect, relax, talk business and regain a sense of inspiration for life and what we do. Yet everyday we had SO MUCH FUN. I don't think I have laughed that much ever. The daily sunsets are stained in my mind and I often just daydream of our afternoons on the deck. Being so connected to nature (the seals for me was a huge highlight and one of. the best things I have ever done) yet having so much fun in the city exploring - it really was the perfect blend of fun and relaxation. Cape Town people have a huge love of life that really sticks with you and reminds you of what is important. Oh and of course the last surprise yacht charter was a really really special day with too many memories to count.
